Foundation Crack Injection

Floor cracks and vertical foundation cracks allow water to enter your basement, flooding your living space, ruining carpet and causing untold stress and inconvenience. Crack injection is used to fill cracks in your foundation walls from the inside out. Stronghold’s process eliminates the expense of digging up your landscaping and provides a full fill front to back. Open cracks are an entry point not only for water to flood in and create mold and mildew but also provide an entry point for insects like carpenter ants and termites. Additionally, foundation cracks are a clear path for radon to enter your home. Radon is listed as the #2 cause of lung cancer, second to cigarette smoking. Foundation cracks are one of the first items checked on a home inspector’s list and usually must be remedied before the home can be sold. Stronghold provides a lifetime transferable warranty on all basement and foundation repairs.

Vapor-lok systems

A vapor-lok system ensures that natural ground vapor emissions, including Radon, are prevented from entering your home via porous concrete. Vapor-lok acts as a barrier to gases but also allows for better adhesion of non-breathable flooring products.

Basement Waterproofing

Basements are a wonderful use of footage and greatly increase the value of your home, IF THEY ARE WATERPROOF. If not waterproof, they are a health hazard to you and your family. Water tables rise and fall with moisture levels that change year to year. Just because your home has not had water problems in the past does not guarantee that water won’t  enter your home as a result of changing environmental conditions and/or recently developed foundation cracks. Insurance will typically not cover water coming in from below ground or through cracks. Don’t fall victim to procrastination.
